Water Festival Event 2018 has seriously knocked my socks off!

It’s time to make a splash! Our Water Festival returns June 7 at 1:00 p.m. PDT, with Water-type Pokémon such as Magikarp and Wailmer appearing more frequently in the wild. Some lucky Trainers may even encounter a rare Shiny Shellder for the very first time during the event! Plus, enjoy Field Research tasks highlighting Water-type Pokémon until June 21 at 1:00 p.m. PDT.

Alongside increased appearance of Water-type Pokémon appearing all over the world, you’ll be able to earn 3× Stardust for catching Water-type Pokémon. Plus, 2 km Eggs will hatch exciting Pokémon such as Totodile, Mudkip, and Corphish—earn Double Candy and Stardust for every Egg hatched!

Raid Battles will also feature powerful Water-type Pokémon for the duration of the celebration, including the exciting return of the Legendary Pokémon Kyogre. And, if you challenge Kyogre during the event and come out victorious, there is a chance you’ll encounter its Shiny form!

So Trainers, dive on in to this water-focused event before it ends on June 21!

2KM eggs will be featuring more water types, and give you DOUBLE CANDY AND DOUBLE DUST.

This happens from 4pm EDT Today until 4pm EDT on June 21, so we get TWO WEEKS of this fantastic Water Festival Event!!!

Get those shinys and grind that dust!!!!!

Explaining the “new” updates to old players

I just watched Nick’s video from a couple days ago.  Super informative!

If you began playing Pokemon Go when it first came out, but along the way got frustrated or bored, or just stopped playing for whatever reason, but have picked it back up – this video is for you!  Trainer Tips covers the major game updates and talks about what we are still looking forward to.

Alolan Pokemon Announcement!

Sunny days are ahead! Whether your forecast calls for rain or shine, we’re celebrating all around the world by introducing some special Pokémon from the tropical Alola region to Pokémon GO. Get ready for some of the Pokémon originally discovered in the Kanto region to appear in their Alolan forms! These unique variants were first seen in the Pokémon Sun and Pokémon Moon video games, and they will make their way to Pokémon GO in the coming weeks. Keep an eye out for news related to this exciting change—and don’t forget to tell your friends! Stay safe, and happy exploring!

Ummmmmm, who else is excited about this unexpected announcement??!?!?!!!

Community Day Wrap up

Another successful Community Day has come to a close. Me and some friends rode around in a minivan and had an absolute blast rolling around our downtown district. We all came out with a plentiful bounty of shiny Charmander and shared more laughs than we can count. I ended up getting 13 shinys over the 3 hour event. I want to know how all of your community days went. Did you catch a lot of shinys or none at all?? Whether you caught a bunch or not did you have fun? Please let us know in the comment section.

New Boxes Available in the Shop!

I have reviewed the contents of all 3 available boxes. Honestly all of them are a great value. Each box has lucky eggs, super incubators, and ultra balls, but all of them have a unique item for the 4th one. Make your decision based off what items you are lacking on the most. Star pieces – community day box, incense – great box, and finally raid passes – ultra box.

Now if you are looking for the best bang for your buck then the ultra box is definitely the way to go! If you look at it this way you are getting super incubators at regular incubator price and then getting all the other items for free!! HippoChick and I decided to get ultra boxes ourselves to go ahead and stock up on those sweet incubators! Plus you can never have to many raid passes! Take advantage of these great deals while you can and enjoy your community tomorrow!!

Discussion – Community Day, what we’d like to see in the future

We all know that tomorrow, May 19th 2018, is Charmander’s chance to shine with Community Day.  We also know that the next two Community Day dates have been announced: June 16 and July 8.

Chances are pretty good that July’s star of Community Day will be Squirtle, the last Gen 1 starter to be featured. But who will get to be June’s glorified Mon?

Some speculate that it’ll be Larvitar. (I kinda hope it is!)
I think it’d be fun to get Slakoth or Ralts or Lotad Community Days, but they have yet to feature a Gen 3 Mon…

Let’s discuss: who do you think will (or want to) have their day in the spotlight?

Possible Adventure Week Leak

This photo was found on Twitter and was taken from a Japanese website. I don’t want to build false hype but it says that Adventure Week 2018 will start on May 19 – May 26. Now it’s very unlikely that they would start a new event during the weekend of community day but anything is possible. Last community day was overlapped by the Kanto event so it’s not completely out of the question.

Everyone must remember that all these are just apparent “leaks”. There is no confirmation about any of this. There has been a Email circulating about the return of Adventure Week and to stay tuned for more details. The email looked rather legitimate and was posted in a few different languages by a handful of Redditor’s.  Not sure if there is any validity to these leaks and emails but I would honestly enjoy the return of Adventure Week. I enjoyed it last year and would love to experience it again.

That’s all for now Be safe and happy hunting adventurers!
